1. Acceptance of These Terms
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility and Accounts
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
- You are responsible for providing accurate account information and for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create risk for PrepVue or others, or are used fraudulently or abusively.
3. The Service
PrepVue provides AI-assisted interview practice and related career-preparation tools, including resume upload and analysis, resume tailoring, company research, voice interview sessions, coding exercises, transcripts, scoring, and generated reports or feedback.
The Service is intended for educational and practice purposes. It is not a substitute for legal, financial, recruiting, immigration, employment, or other professional advice.
4. Your Content
You may provide content to the Service, including resumes, job descriptions, interview responses, voice input, coding submissions, contact messages, profile details, and other materials or information you upload, submit, or generate through your use of the Service ("User Content").
You retain ownership of your User Content. By using the Service, you grant PrepVue a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, reproduce, modify, process, transmit, and display your User Content only as reasonably necessary to operate, provide, maintain, secure, improve, and support the Service.
You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit your User Content and that your User Content does not violate these Terms or any applicable law.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or deceptive purposes.
- Upload content you do not have the right to use or share.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, probe, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
- Bypass rate limits, access controls, plan restrictions, or security measures.
- Use the Service to create malware, spam, harassment, or abusive content.
- Interfere with other users, overload the Service, or use automated methods to access the Service in a way that causes harm or instability.
- Use the Service in a way that infringes another party’s rights.
6. AI-Generated Features and Output
Some features of the Service use automated systems and third-party models to generate interview questions, transcripts, resume suggestions, reports, research summaries, scoring, and other outputs.
AI-generated output may be incomplete, inaccurate, offensive, outdated, or otherwise unsuitable for your specific circumstances. You are responsible for reviewing and evaluating outputs before relying on them.
PrepVue does not guarantee that use of the Service will improve interview performance, secure job offers, or produce any specific career outcome.
7. Subscriptions, Billing, and Payments
Certain features may require a paid subscription. Paid plans, pricing, usage limits, and included features may change from time to time.
- If you purchase a paid plan, you authorize the applicable payment processor to charge the payment method you provide for recurring subscription fees and applicable taxes.
- Subscriptions may renew automatically until canceled, unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.
- If you cancel, your subscription may remain active until the end of the current billing period.
- Except as required by law, fees are non-refundable and prepaid amounts are not prorated.
- We may change pricing or plan structure prospectively. If we do, the updated pricing will apply to future billing periods unless otherwise stated.
8. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third-party providers for services such as authentication, payment processing, analytics, speech processing, search, and AI model access. Your use of those third-party features may also be subject to the providers’ own terms and policies.
PrepVue is not responsible for third-party products, services, websites, or policies.
9. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, branding, text, graphics, interfaces, and other content provided by PrepVue, is owned by PrepVue or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property and other laws.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, PrepVue grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use the Service for your personal or internal business use.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, license, or create derivative works from the Service except as expressly permitted by applicable law or with our prior written consent.
10. Termination and Suspension
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, in whole or in part, at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, created risk, failed to pay fees when due, or if we discontinue the Service.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including sections relating to ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, payments owed, and dispute-related provisions.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PrepVue disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that any content or output will be accurate, complete, or reliable.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PrepVue and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total liability of PrepVue for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to PrepVue for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) $100 USD.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
13. Indemnity
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PrepVue and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and licensors from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or related to your User Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms here and update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
